And given his take on Doctor Doom is likely to be completely divorced from his time as Iron Man, it’s not likely the studio would have to fold Don Cheadle in on their plans for Avengers: Doomsday. While it’s been made clear that Robert Downey Jr. is coming back in a big way as Doctor Doom, the fate of other MCU stars in Avengers: Doomsday is a bit more up in the air.
