Dominic West Picks Up First Ever Emmy Nomination For ‘The Crown’; One of Five Actors Nominated Including Imelda Staunton

The Crown' 2024 Emmy Nominations: Dominic West, Imelda Staunton, Elizabeth Debicki, Jonathan Pryce up for awards.

Starring the likes of West, Imelda Staunton, Elizabeth Debicki and Lesley Manville, the sixth and final season of Left Bank’s The Crown was released in two volumes and charted the years 1997 to 2005. Filming began just prior to the death of Queen Elizabeth II, which led West’s character to become King. The series has been one of Netflix’s most successful outside the U.S. since the streamer launched, a dynastic re-telling that lasted across seven years and was paired with huge investment.
