At the beginning of their romance, Purcell exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2011 that McCord was “one of the most intelligent women I’ve ever met in my life.” He joked, “She doesn’t take any of my s–t, which I need.” Once she had split from Billy Ray, Tish looked Purcell back up on Instagram and realized she was no longer blocked.
