Dolph Lundgren finally becomes a US citizen after 40 years in the States

The actor and his wife Emma Krokdal say they're proud to be American citizens

He was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston in 1983, and even though he excelled in his engineering studies, he decided to move to New York City and take up acting. In 1984 he landed his breakthrough role as Ivan Drago, a ferocious boxer from the Soviet Union, in Rocky IV, opposite Sylvester Stallone. Dolph and Emma took to social media to share pics of themselves swearing the oath of allegiance in a ceremony held in Los Angeles.
