Doja Cat said her 1980s-inspired 2025 Met Gala look was a preview of her upcoming 5th album, 'Vie.'

When designer Jacobs mentioned Vie while talking about how she dressed Doja for the event — noting that her outré look was inspired by mood boards the singer/rapper had created for the album — Nwodim just had to get more details on the LP. The video for “Jealous Type” she was referring to that dropped on Monday featured Doja modeling a series of Jacobs looks and accessories as she racks up a cassette tape of the super 80s pop jam while enjoying a high-fashion staycation. Also on Monday, Doja briefly released the Scarlet leftover song “ Crack,” which she’d previewed in 2022 on Instagram Live and shared for just 24 hours, cautioning that it won’t be included on her upcoming album.
