The dark olive green, Elphaba’s skin color in the beloved musical, is splashed atop everything from sweatpants and nail polish to shoulder bags and sunglasses ahead of the star-studded adaptation. Gap knows how to make a good hoodie, and now Elphaba’s witch hat-donning silhouette replaces the “A” in their logo on this limited-edition lineup, released this week. At first glance, the shoulder bags looks like any other from the New York-based fashion brand, but closer inspection reveals an intricate design that features a striking symbol from Elphaba’s grimmerie, beautifully detailed with gold studs on a smooth leather backdrop.
