Hip-hop star Doechii writes a love letter to the LGBTQ community for Pride Month.
In honor of Pride Month, Doechii pens a moving letter to the LGBTQ community, who provided her with the support she needed "to defy societal norms and embrace my true self unapologetically." Whether I’m working on choreography or undergoing a glamorous transformation, I draw inspiration from my memories of resilience and artistry of drag queens in Ybor City and the energy of ballroom culture in NYC. Though moments of self-doubt may arise, the unwavering support and enthusiasm of my fans serve as a constant reminder of my purpose and the impact of my art.
