Doechii was filmed having a tense interaction with her team at The Mark Hotel while trying to conceal her 2025 Met Gala outfit before the red carpet.

Bystanders at The Mark Hotel witnessed the rapper cursing at her team because they failed to successfully conceal her outfit for her exit out of the lobby. Doechii wore a Louis Vuitton suit by Pharrell Williams, the brand's men's creative director and one of the event's co-chairs. In the weekend leading up to the star-studded event, the Grammy winner honored the late André Leon Talley, who inspired this year's exhibit, by recreating one of his tennis looks that translated his love for the sport and wearing luxury clothing while playing it.
