Doctor Who suffers major ratings blow as Ncuti Gatwa returns for the new series amid axe fears - but fans have spotted one problem

Doctor Who has received its lowest overnight ratings to dating as Ncuti Gatwa reprising his role as the Doctor over the weekend.

Doctor Who has received its lowest overnight ratings to date as the first episode of the new series hit screens on Saturday, amid doubts over star Ncuti Gatwa's future Doctor Who's new series opened with The Robot Revolution, where new companion Belinda Chandra (Varada Sethu) confronts Alan Budd (Jonny Green) - a spurned ex-fiancé turned dictator.
