DJ Fat Tony was rushed to hospital after enduring a shocking assault and suffering severe facial injuries. The 57 year old music maestro and LGBTQ+ advocate had to cancel his upcoming gig due to the injuries sustained.Taking to Instagram on Saturday, 14 December, the DJ, real name Tony Marnach, informed fans that an altercation at a previous event led to him being knocked unconscious, necessitating an all-night stay in the emergency department. He wrote: "LOVE ALWAYS WINS X. I am devastated to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances I have no choice but to cancel tonight’s event at @number90bar @no90_events.
