Divisive Netflix star reveals why he dramatically quit hit reality show

Owning Manhattan star Jonathan Nørmølle has officially quit the Netflix real estate show after one season, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Explaining why he decided to turn down appearing in more episodes, Jonathan said the editing posed a risk – and that he doesn't want to be known as a reality television star. Jonathan was fired by Ryan Serhant in the season one finale of Owning Manhattan after he was caught bad-mouthing a colleague on the company's podcast and tarnishing the reputation of the business at the showing of a $10 million property. In the showdown, which took place on the roof deck of the Manhattan skyscraper The Edge at Hudson Yards, Ryan said: 'You made your mistake with Savannah and the stupid podcast and using company resources, you have ego issues and you rub some people the wrong way, but even through all of that, I still told everybody: "I still believe in Jonathan."
