Ditched nicknames The Chase stars had before one was deemed 'too racy'
ITV's The Chase stars such as The Vixen and the Dark Destroyer had some very different nicknames that were rejected before the show's crew settled on the final ones.
Quiz professionals such as Mark Labbett and Jenny Ryan have become telly favourites since making their way onto the show under monikers such as The Beast and The Vixen. She continued: "Brad came up with 'The Vixen' because in every audition I wore my hair with a ponytail at the side and he thought it looked like a fox's brush. He also revealed his initial worry that former professional boxer Nigel Benn, who held both the WBO middleweight and WBC super-middleweight titles in the 90s, also went by the Dark Destroyer.
