Disney+ Korean Drama ‘A Shop For Killers’ Renewed For Season 2; Indian Film Festival Of Los Angeles; ProSieben Extends Habets Contract – Global Briefs
'A Shop For Killers' Season 2 has been ordered by Disney+ Korea with 'Drive My Car's Masaki Okada joining cast.
The two-day forum will take place on May 8-9 at the Landmark Theatres Sunset in LA and will look to foster connections between South Asian film and TV creative and industry leaders in the U.S., with execs from the likes of Netflix, Neon, Temple Hill Entertainment, Orion Pictures, Gaumont Television and NBCUniversal in attendance. The contract award comes amid a fight for the broadcaster’s future, with shareholders such as MediaForEurope and PFF agitating for change and ProSiebenSat.1’s board believing their current strategy, based around streamer Joyn, is the correct course. The show, aimed at 4-8s, follows the adventures of two imaginative siblings who stumble upon VR headsets that take them to Storyland, a world built on iconic stories from Indian mythology and folklore.
