Disney to Preview ‘Zootopia 2,’ ‘Elio,’ ‘Toy Story 5’ and More at This Year’s Annecy Festival
Walt Disney Studios, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Disney Television Animation and 20th Television Animation will present together at this year's Annecy.
For the first time, The Walt Disney Company is assembling its full animation arsenal for a united front at the Annecy Festival, which will take place June 8 to 14 this summer. Set for a theatrical release on Nov. 26, the sequel reunites fan-favorites Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde as they chase a reptilian mystery that threatens to upend Zootopia’s harmony. Headlining the showcase is “Elio,” the 2025 summer tentpole directed by Domee Shi (“Turning Red”) and Madeline Sharafian (“Burrow”), with producer Mary Alice Drumm (“Coco”).
