Disney Drops Weird Disney+ Subscriber Agreement Clause in Wrongful Death Case

Disney has dropped its weird streaming-subscriber loophole in Jeffrey Piccolo's wrongful death lawsuit.

Disney does not own and operate Raglan Road — it leases the space to Great Irish Pubs Florida, Inc., which is also named as a defendant in Piccolo’s suit. In response to Piccolo’s lawsuit, Disney invoked a bizarre clause buried in its streaming-subscriber(and online ticket-buying) terms of use in an effort to avoid a jury trial and force the case into arbitration. He also hopes these recent events have raised awareness of the millions of people of all ages and walks of life who suffer with food allergies.
