Former BBC News anchor Huw Edwards has been sentenced after pleading guilty to charges involving indecent images of children
The offences took place from December 2020 to August 2021, with the BBC reportedly aware of Edward's arrest since November but continued his employment well into the following year. That's not allhe's hosted glam events such as the BAFTA Cymru awards and had his hand in producing top-notch docs like 'The Prince and the Plotter', per The Mirror. BBC's director-general Tim Davie explained of the corporation's decision: "No-one wants to waste a pound but we need to act proportionately and fairly and I think that's what we did."
