Oliver Stone apologized for the negative ‘Barbie’ comments he made last year and 'speaking ignorantly' before seeing the film
The Barbie cast — including Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling — reunited to celebrate the film’s success at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 7. “I was able to see Barbie in a theater back in July and appreciated the film for its originality and its themes,” Stone continued, “I found the filmmakers’ approach certainly different than what I expected. Golden Globes host Jo Koy was widely criticized for a joke he made about Barbie, comparing Gerwig’s film to Christoper Nolan ‘s Oppenheimer.
