Matthew Vaughn, director of Argylle, is clearing things up and shutting down conspiracy theories that claim Taylor Swift wrote the book on which the film is based. Swifties are accustomed to the “Bejeweled” singer dropping Easter eggs about her upcoming projects, and many fans believed Swift was behind the Bryce Dallas Howard-starring film. Other clues were that Swift is known to use pen names for ghostwriting, like Rihanna’s “This Is What You Came For,” which she co-wrote with her now-ex Calvin Harris under the pseudonym Nils Sjöberg.
