Director George Tillman Jr Signs With Kaplan/Perrone

Tillman’s feature directing credits include The Hate U Give, Men of Honor, Notorious, Faster and Soul Food. It tells the remarkable true story of a young Nigerian boy’s journey from refugee to chess champion. In addition to directing features, Tillman has directed television projects including ABC’s For Life, Starz’ Power, Netflix/Marvel’s Luke Cage, NBC’s This Is Us, and Disney’s Emmy winning show The Crossover.
