Diner Booth Used in ‘The Sopranos’ Finale Sells on eBay for Over $80,000

The diner booth that Tony Soprano sat in as he was (or was not) murdered in ‘The Sopranos’ finale has sold for over $80,000

While viewers who watched the episode, titled “Made in America,” in 2007 thought their reception suddenly went out at the worst possible moment, the ending soon set off a debate that still rages 17 years later: Did Tony die? The HBO crime drama began in January 1999 with Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) reluctantly walking into the office of his new psychiatrist, Jennifer Melfi (Lorraine Bracco), after having a panic attack. In the years since, dozens of fan theories have emerged, with multiple YouTube videos explaining why he did or did not meet his demise in front of a plate of onion rings.
