Diddy Is Requesting a Laptop in Jail: ‘Restrictions Are Untenable’


Diddy’s lawyers are requesting the rapper have access to a laptop in prison as he prepares his defense

John Shearer/Getty Images for The Hollywood Reporter Sean “Diddy” Combs has been ordered to remain in jail until his trial for sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy begins. “To be clear, the discovery provided on Mr. Combs laptop does not contain any evidence designated as ‘attorneys’ possession only’ and therefore does not contain anything that could potentially risk the safety or privacy of alleged victims or witnesses,” they wrote. Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal team is claiming that a recent search of the music mogul’s jail cell violated his right to attorney-client privilege.
