Diddy Arson Expert Claims Kid Cudi Car Bomb Failed Because It Was Too Fancy
An arson investigator in the Diddy trial claimed the Molotov cocktail used in the Kid Cudi car bombing failed because of the 'silky' material
A Molotov cocktail typically consists of a bottle full of flammable liquid that is stuffed with a cloth and then set on fire, but Jimenez said the weapon in this case was crafted with a “designer-type” handkerchief made of a “silky-type material.” Jimenez claimed that fingerprint cards from the car bombing investigation were destroyed without his knowledge on orders from a Los Angeles police officer who was not part of his team, which he said was unusual. Defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro claimed the prosecution was trying to imply that Diddy ordered the destruction of the fingerprint cards, which she said was so prejudicial it could influence the jury even if the testimony was struck.
