Diane Warren Reflects on Losing Best Original Song Oscar for the 16th Time: ‘I’m Consistent as F—’
Diane Warren lost the best original song Oscar for the 16th time at the Academy Awards on Sunday night in Hollywood.
Despite not going home with a gold statuette for best original song for “Journey” from Netflix’s “The Six Triple Eight,” the prolific songwriter attended the Vanity Fair party in Beverly Hills. Warren also expressed her disappointment that the Oscar producers nixed performances of the best original song nominees during Sunday’s ceremony. H.E.R., who performs “Journey” on the “The Six Triple Eight” soundtrack, told me Saturday night that she was “bummed” not getting the chance to showcase the song at the Oscars.
