Diana Ross turns 80! - ‘You've got to make your dreams happen - you can't just sit there'
As legendary star Diana Ross reaches a milestone birthday, she shows no signs of putting on the brakes. Why would she, if the secret of her success is having fun?

When it comes to her career on screen, she also earned an Oscar nomination for her portrayal of jazz icon Billie Holiday in Lady Sings the Blues, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and was then awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016. “Sometimes these steps have felt painful, difficult, but led me to greater happiness and opportunities.” In 2011, however, Diana gushed to Oprah Winfrey that she still considered Arne, who died in a tragic climbing accident in South Africa in 2004, the true love of her life.
