Shot in Cape Cod and Los Angeles, the film’s producers are Ryan Lacen, Jenica Bergere, Hilliard Guess, Tyler Musikanth, Toni Long and Mary Vernieu. A passionate LGBTQ+ advocate committed to amplifying the voices of marginalized communities through her work, Perera previously directed Paul & Trisha: The Art of Fluidity, a documentary exploring the lives of two 77-year-old British artists who exist in one gender-fluid body.
