Devastating scene where Gogglebox's George Gilbey tragically fell to his death
Former Gogglebox and Celebrity Big Brother star George Gilbey has tragically died at the age of 40 following a workplace accident in Shoebury, near Southend-on-Sea
It read: "We received a report of an incident at Campfield Road in Shoebury at around 10am this morning (27 March), during which a man who was working at height had fallen and sustained an injury. Pictures of the scene show a blue cherry picker leading up to the roof of the 35ft warehouse, where scaffolding poles and other building materials can be seen. George famously appeared on Gogglebox alongside his step-dad Pete and mum Linda (Image: Channel 4)George, who had a seven-year-old daughter called Amelie, famously appeared on the Channel 4 show alongside his step-dad Pete and mum Linda back in 2013.
