Dev Patel’s ‘Monkey Man’ Sets Peacock Premiere Date

Dev Patel's 'Monkey Man' has locked in its streaming premiere date at the Peacock following its theatrical release through Universal Pictures.

Inspired by the legend of Hanuman, an icon embodying strength and courage, the revenge flick stars Patel as a man with no name, scarred by a brutal childhood, who ekes out a meager living in underground fighting rings. Those starring alongside him include Sharlto Copley ( Hardcore Henry 9), Sobhita Dhulipala ( The Night Manager), Vipin Sharma ( Hotel Mumbai), Sikandar Kher ( 24: India) and Pitobash Tripathi ( Million Dollar Arm). In addition to Patel, producers included Jomon Thomas, Jordan Peele, Win Rosenfeld, Ian Cooper, Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Christine Haebler, Sam Sahni and Anjay Nagpal.
