Derek revealed on December 7 that his wife was rushed to the hospital after suffering a cranial hematoma, while they were performing at their Symphony of Dance tour in Washington D.C.; sen in March 2022 in West Hollywood A-listers in attendance included Frieda Pinto, Amy Purdy, Maria Menounos, Shawn Johnson, Nina Dobrev, Shaun White, Robert and Kym Herjavec, Alfonso Ribeiro, and of course, Derek's sister, Julianne Hough.
