Derek Hough Could ‘Barely’ Watch Celine Dion Doc After Wife’s Seizure
Derek Hough compared Celine Dion’s documentary seizure to wife Hayley Erbert’s health struggles
The Dancing With the Stars judge explained that “a very difficult scene” to watch was when Dion, 56, had a SPS (stiff person syndrome) seizure “play out in real time” on the big screen. Erbert was diagnosed with a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel in December 2023 which required emergency craniectomy to relieve the pressure on her brain. The Grammy winner, 56, announced in a January statement that she would “raise awareness” about the “little-known” neurological disorder in a documentary titled I Am: Céline Dion.
