Derek Connolly To Write Chris Hemsworth’s ‘Transformers’ & ‘G.I. Joe’ Crossover Movie

Jurassic World and Star Wars scribe Derek Connollyhas been tapped to pen the screenplay for Paramount’s Transformers and G.I. Joe crossover film.

Derek Connolly, known for his work on high-profile projects like J urassic World and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, has been tapped to pen the screenplay for Paramount’s upcoming Transformers and G.I. Joe worlds was hinted at in 2023’s Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, which successfully rejuvenated the franchise with a global box office haul of $439 million. The groundwork for the crossover was laid in the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts post-credits scene featuring Noah (played by Anthony Ramos), who, after saving Earth with the Autobots and Maximals, returns to New York.
