Derek Connolly Tapped To Script Sega Video Game Adaptation ‘Eternal Champions’ For Skydance
An 'Eternal Champions' movie scripted by 'Jurassic World's Derek Connolly is in development at Skydance, Deadline can confirm.
Derek ConnollyGetty David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger will produce for Skydance, alongside Toru Nakahara for Sega. The game’s premise revolves around a tournament where only one fighter can win the chance to change their fate and prevent their untimely death. Perhaps best known for his work on the Jurassic World films, Connolly’s other writing credits include Kong: Skull Island, Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker and Pokémon: Detective Pikachu.
