More than 30 actors sat down for interviews to discuss Hollywood stardom as Black performers in the upcoming two-part documentary 'Number One on the Call Sheet'.

The trailer for the upcoming two-part documentary Number One on the Call Sheet — shared exclusively with PEOPLE — showcases the incredible contributions of Black leading men and women in Hollywood, celebrating their legacies and impact on the industry. The documentary delves into what it means to be "number one on the call sheet" — a Hollywood mark of status for the lead actor or actress on a project. " Number One on the Call Sheet celebrates the grit, strength and brilliance of those who came before us, while uplifting the next generation," Angela Bassett, who served as an executive producer and appears in the documentary, said in a statement shared with PEOPLE.
