On X, formerly called Twitter, Thompson responded to a video that was shared of Quaid at a Trump rally, writing, “I was engaged to him,” along with a confused face emoji. In the video, Quaid is shown speaking at a Trump rally Saturday in Coachella, California, during which he said, “Are we going to be a nation of law and order? “Trump is the most investigated person probably in the history of the world, and they haven’t been able to really get him on anything,” Quaid said.
