Denise Welch to return to huge fan favourite TV role for first time in 15 years


Loose Women star Denise Welch is reportedly set to make a sensational return to BBC drama Waterloo Road as the French teacher Steph Haydock after the show was revived

The 66 year old panelist from Loose Women will be reprising her role as French teacher on the popular show Waterloo Road Comprehensive School. Denise, a familiar face who featured in the first six seasons of the drama's initial stint, isn't just known for her work on Waterloo Road; she also made waves as Natalie Barnes in Coronation Street between 1997 and 2000. An inside source revealed to The Sun, "Waterloo Road fans love a comeback, particularly when it is someone of Denise's calibre.
