Denise Richards Says Cam Newton ‘Saved Me’ During ‘Special Forces’ (Exclusive)

Denise Richards and Cam Newton talked to “Extra’s” Melvin Robert about answering the call to take on grueling military training in Season 3 of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.” Denise revealed that she initially said no and was intimidated about being with some athletes on the show, also sharing how former NFL star Cam “saved me” during the experience. Cam reacted to his fellow recruits calling him a teddy bear and spoke about building bonds for life. He shared that the toughest part was knowing you can quit at any time, but shared how the camaraderie kept him going. “Special Forces” premieres January 8 on FOX.
