Denis Arndt Dies: ‘Basic Instinct’ Actor And Tony Nominee Was 86
Denis Arndt, who appeared in Basic Instinct, a slate of David E. Kelley shows and earned a Tony nomination, has died at the age of 86.
In 2017, Arndt received a Tony nomination for Best Lead Actor in a Play for his portrayal of Alex in Simon Stephen’s Heisenberg opposite Mary-Louise Parker’s Georgie, which his family deemed the “pinnacle of his career.” “In his own way, Dad lived his life as a full and generous performance, known for his incredible wit, charm, rebel spirit, irreverence, sense of humor, grittiness, and passion for his art.
