The final night of the Democratic National Convention, buoyed by a speech from Vice President Kamala Harris accepting the party’s presidential nomination, averaged 26.2M viewers on Thursday across 15 networks, according to Nielsen. In addition to Harris’ speech, the night included words from Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland, Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA), Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), Gov. Roy Cooper (D-NC), Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), as well as Rep. Lucy McBath (D-GA), former Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-AZ) and gun violence advocates and survivors.
