Democratic Convention Night 3: Tim Walz, Bill Clinton And Pete Buttigieg Among Speakers

Josh Shapiro (D-PA), Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT), Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) and Republicans including former Trump administration official Olivia Troye and Geoff Duncan, former lieutenant governor of Georgia. Walz “will introduce himself to the American people tonight on the convention stage, highlighting the small-town values that have shaped his lifetime of service and his commitment to safeguarding the freedoms that we all hold dear,” Alex Hornbrook, executive director of the Democratic National Convention Committee, told reporters. As they have throughout the week, Democrats also are trying to make a show of unity at the United Center in Chicago, a dramatic shift in the presidential race given the change at the top of the ticket.
