Demi Moore set to continue her awards season success with BAFTA nomination as she leads resurgence of older female actresses receiving recognition


The actress , 62, who picked up her first acting accolade ever at the Golden Globes for her role in The Substance has been nominated for Leading Actress at the prestigious awards.

And as Demi finally begins to receive the recognition she deserves, the star appears to be leading the way in a resurgence of older actresses who have also made the nominations list. While Pamela Anderson failed to be recognised in her glorious return to the silver screen, Jamie, 66, is up for the award after playing cocktail waitress Annette in the drama. She also proved her acting chops in meatier 1990s films such as blockbuster courtroom drama A Few Good Men opposite Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson.
