Dekanalog Acquires ‘Hema Hema: Sing Me a Song While I Wait,’ ‘Redlands’ and ‘Wetiko’ (EXCLUSIVE)
Dekanalog has acquired “Hema Hema: Sing Me a Song While I Wait" by Khyentse Norbu, "Redlands" by John Brian King and "Wetiko" by Kerry Mondragon.
The film follows a gathering in a Bhutanese forest that occurs every twelve years between people wearing masks. A Variety revie w stated that “it’s easy to appreciate the beauty of the forested locale, shot in Bhutan’s southeast, at times dappled with sunlight and at others, darkly menacing.” Dekanalog’s slate for 2025 also includes releasing the film “Blue Sun Palace” in theaters throughout April and May.
