Def Leppard's Rick Allen Says Life's 'Been Difficult' Since He Was Randomly Attacked by Stranger in 2023: 'Very Traumatic'

Rick Allen of Def Leppard opens up in a new interview about the time he was randomly attacked on the street in 2023. He said the experience has been "very traumatic" and "difficult."

The suspect also attacked a woman who came outside to help Allen, and he arrest report says he grabbed her by the hair and dragged her out of the hotel’s lobby after she ran back inside to escape. Two months later, Allen spoke about the incident in an interview with Good Morning America, saying he “saw this dark sort of flash” before he fell on his back and hit his head on the pavement.
