Death in Paradise star Ralf Little on BBC exit - ‘I wanted to do it for 20 more years’

Ralf Little has opened up about his decision to leave Death In Paradise after four years on the show, as he admitted he didn't want to leave the BBC series

The 44 year old, famed for his roles in Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps and The Royle Family, bid farewell to the show set in the picturesque Caribbean at the end of last month, after a successful four-year stint. Ralf, who became the longest-serving DI as Neville Parker, left fans emotional with his character's exit to follow his love interest DS Florence Cassell, portrayed by Josephine Jobert. Other luminaries who have played the main DI role include My Family star Kris Marshall, whose character Detective Inspector Humphrey Goodman appears in the spin-off Beyond Paradise, and Bridgerton's Ben Miller.
