Death in Paradise star lands role from series in Channel 4 thriller
Channel 4 has released some first-look images for the second series of crime show, Suspect, and the upcoming series will see a number of new faces join the cast
The eight-part series originally centred on veteran detective Danny Frater (James Nesbitt), who was determined to uncover the truth about his daughter's death. While James Nesbitt won't be returning for the new series, the focus will shift to his character's ex-wife and mother of their daughter, Dr Susannah Newman (Anne-Marie Duff). The eight-part drama will also introduce some fresh faces, including Death in Paradise star Ben Miller as Detective Superintendent Richard Groves.
