Death In Paradise spin-off with series' first ever female detective finally drops trailer - with beloved BBC star returning to screens


The Death In Paradise spin-off is set in sun-soaked Australia and follows DI Mackenzie Clarke, played by Anna Samson, as she attempts to solve a whole host of mysterious murders.

The hotly-anticipated trailer for Return To Paradise has finally landed, giving fans their first peek at the new female detective in action in a series' first - and a famous star is reportedly joining the cast. Sue Deeks, Head of BBC Programme Acquisition, said: 'Everything we all love about Death in Paradise - the humour, the beautiful scenery, the likeable characters, the ingenious plots - now in a fabulous Australian setting'. The highly anticipated third outing for the Death In Paradise spin-off it will reunite viewers with characters Humphrey (Kris Marshall) and Martha (Sally Bretton) in Devon, following the season two finale in which they came close to tying the knot.
