Death in Paradise fans left 'sobbing' over DI Neville Parker's final episode as BBC confirm future of the show: 'It was the perfect ending for them both'
Ralf Little's final episode for Death In Paradise aired on Sunday night, leaving viewers in tears as his exit storyline was finally revealed.
After fears his character DI Neville Parker was planning to leave the island of Saint Marie solo, the final scenes of series 13 saw him rushing to be with fan favourite DS Florence Cassell (Joséphine Jobert) after their 'will they, wont they' storyline reached its emotional conclusion. The BBC confirmed Ralf has left the show after the finale aired, with Tim Key, Executive Producer for Red Planet Pictures paying tribute to its lead actor 'Joining a successful show like Death in Paradise as the lead is a daunting and risky prospect, but Ralf's confidence and talent shone through from day one and the audience response to Neville and his journey has been amazing,' he said.
