Dean Phillips Ends Presidential Campaign, Endorses Joe Biden
Phillips had challenged Biden in the Democratic primary.
Rep. Dean Phillips(D-MN) has dropped his challenge to President Joe Biden for the Democratic presidential nomination. In the Minnesota primary on Tuesday, he drew just 7.8% of the vote in his home state, behind the number of voters choosing “uncommitted,” which garnered about 19%. He wrote that “in light of the stark reality we face, I ask you join me in mobilizing, energizing, and doing everything you can to help keep a man of decency and integrity in the White House.
