Dean McDermott Pushes Back Against Tori Spelling's Divorce Filing as He Disputes Separation Date and Child Custody
Dean McDermott has responded to Tori Spelling's divorce filing and disagrees with his ex-wife on their date of separation and her petition to have sole physical custody of their five children.
On May 13, the actor, 57, filed a response to Spelling's March 29 divorce filing, as he similarly requested the dissolution of their marriage due to irreconcilable differences, but listed a different separation date than his wife had. In her filing, she requested the court to award her spousal support and terminate McDermott's ability to receive the same. In the weeks since she filed for divorce, both Spelling and McDermott have spoken out about the demise of their relationship and the reasons behind their divorce, which she said on an episode of her podcast, misSPELLING, was "15 years" in the making.
