Deadpool Creator Rob Liefeld Slams Marvel & Cuts Ties After Being Snubbed At Premiere
Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld has reached his boiling point with Marvel following the July 2024 premiere of 'Deadpool & Wolverine'.
The comic book creator, who conceived the character in a 1990 issue of New Mutants, publicly cut ties with Marvel as he recounted being snubbed at the July 2024 premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine. “It was meant to embarrass, diminish, defeat me,” he said in the latest episode of his Robservations podcast, which was titled ‘Marvel: Access Denied!’ He recalled being ignored by Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige on the red carpet before finding out he and his family were not invited to the afterparty, the final straw for Liefeld.
