Deadline’s Contenders Television Streaming Site Launches
Deadline has launched the streaming site for Contenders Television 2025, featuring panels with the stars and creatives behind the best shows on TV.
The cast and creatives from a total of 27 shows appeared over the weekend in a pair of all-day affairs at the DGA Theater, with the discussions delving deep into the journeys their projects took to get made, and even to tease what’s coming next. The lineup of shows represented the cream of the crop of watercooler series, with participating shows Saturday and Sunday including ABC’s High Potential; AMC’s Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire; Apple TV+’s Dope Thief, Severance and The Studio; CBS Studios’ Matlock; Disney+’s Out of My Mind; Fox Entertainment’s Going Dutch; HBO | Max’s The Last of Us; Hulu’s Good American Family, The Handmaid’s Tale, Mid-Century Modern and Paradise; Paramount+’s 1923, The Agency, Landman and Yellowjackets; Onyx Collective’s Deli Boys; PBS on Masterpiece’s Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light; Prime Video’s Another Simple Favor, The Better Sister, The Boys, Cross, Étoile and Overcompensating; and Warner Bros Television’s Running Point and The Pitt. Among the names in attendance were Kathy Bates, Richard Gere, Sterling K.
