Deadline's Sound & Screen Television 2024 is the latest in the franchise that spotlights composers and their work on the year's buzziest TV series.
Deadline on Friday hosted Sound & Screen Television, the latest incarnation of its awards-season music franchise that puts the spotlight on composers and their work on the year’s buzziest TV series. Additional panelists and performers included composers Atli Örvarsson, Carlos Rafael Rivera, Blake Neely, Sherri Chung, David Fleming and Jeff Russo, along with Nick Chuba who teamed with Atticus Ross to create the Shōgun score. A total of 10 shows were represented: Apple TV+’s Silo, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Masters of the Air and Lessons In Chemistry; Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building; Disney+ and Lucasfilm’s Ahsoka; FX’s Fargo and Shōgun; Peacock/UCP’s Based on a True Story; and Prime Video’s Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
